🙌 Volunteer Opportunities – Walk 10km. Change a Life. 💛

Not everyone can walk — but everyone can make a difference.
We’re looking for event volunteers to support the Rotherham 10km Mental Health Walk and help raise vital awareness and support for mental health in our community.

By volunteering, you’ll be helping to:

✨ Break stigma
✨ Spark important conversations
✨ Support walkers and create a welcoming, safe event
✨ Bring hope to people who need it most

Every role matters, and every action helps create real change — one step, one conversation, one act of kindness at a time.

📅 Volunteer interest closing date: 30/04/2026

What a lovely testimonial for one of our peer supporters!

🌟 A Powerful Reminder of Why Peer Support Matters 🌟

We recently received a heartfelt letter from someone supported through the S62 Peer Support and with their permission, we’re sharing a small part of their message.
They spoke about feeling unheard, exhausted, and let down by the system — until they met their peer supporter.

💛 “He believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.
He listened with patience, kindness, and compassion.
He stood by my side, even in my darkest moments.”

Their words are a beautiful reminder of what peer support truly is:
human connection, empathy, hope, and walking alongside someone until they can walk again on their own.

To every peer supporter who shows up with compassion, persistence, and lived experience — you make a difference every single day.

And to the individual who shared this message: thank you for trusting us with your story. Your courage inspires us.
