Children under 6 will now be offered the MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox) vaccine as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme.

The MMR vaccine is still available for those born on or before 31 December 2019 who were not vaccinated when they were younger.

We were delighted to welcome Minal Bakhai, National Director of Primary Care Transformation at NHS England, to Rotherham and Doncaster last week as part of her tour of the 43 areas involved in the National Neighbourhood Health Programme.

She met with health and care and voluntary sector workers throughout the day to see how neighbourhood health is being delivered in Doncaster and Rotherham.
