▪️EATING DISORDERS AWARENESS WEEK▪️

An eating disorder is a mental health condition where you use the control of food to cope with feelings and other situations.

Unhealthy eating behaviours may include eating too much or too little or worrying about your weight or body shape. Anyone can get an eating disorder, but teenagers and young adults are mostly affected. With treatment, most people can recover from an eating disorder.

For any information on eating disorders, please visit: https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/

☁️TIME TO TALK☁️

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for all of us to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Why is talking important?
Talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health for everyone. It can reduce stigma and help people feel comfortable enough to seek help when they need it.

If you wish to talk to our Mental Health team, please call your GP practice and ask for an appointment with our Mental Health Triage Coach, Whitney.

Visit: https://www.mind.org.uk/get-involved/time-to-talk-day/ for further information on time to talk day.
