With 25 years nursing experience and a genuine interest in the general wellbeing of others, Chantil offers a wide range of complementary therapies at her purpose built therapy room, Holly Tree Holistics in Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham. Offering a wide variety of treatments, including Reflexology, reiki, facials, Microdermabrasion and a variety of massage techniques, Holly Tree Holistics is the perfect place to go to relax, de-stress and take time-out from our often very busy and demanding day to day lives. With 25 years nursing experience and an increasing interest in the general wellbeing of others, Chantil began her training in Complementary Therapies in 2019 and officially opened Holly Tree Holistics in 2020. The purpose built therapy room is beautifully situated in the garden of Chantil’s home and is designed and equipped to provide an environment of complete relaxation. Following completion of her Diploma, Chantil continued to train in a variety of therapies, including in Reflexology. Reflexology is; ‘A science and theory that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. It is a unique practice and method of using the thumbs and fingers on these reflex areas’. As a complementary health therapy, reflexology can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing. The Association of Reflexologists says; ‘The theory is that reflexology helps the body to restore its balance naturally. Usually, after a treatment your tension may be reduced and you might feel relaxed. You might also notice yourself sleeping better and find your mood and sense of wellbeing improving. You may also find that other aspects improve too; however, this happens on an individual basis.’
