What is yin yoga?
* Pace:
Yin is a slow-paced practice where the focus is on holding poses for an extended time, compared to more active (yang) yoga styles. ��
* Poses:
The practice involves mostly floor-based poses, including forward bends, lunges, and gentle backbends, which are held for several minutes at a time. ��
* Focus:
It targets deeper connective tissues like bones, ligaments, and fascia, rather than muscles. ��
* Mindfulness:
It is a meditative practice that encourages you to focus on your breath and become present in the pose, fostering a sense of calm and stillness.
