Great day at the NAIDEX exhibition at the NEC exploring the latest innovations in mobility and independent living.

It’s always exciting to see how technology continues to evolve to support accessibility, comfort and independence. We spent time looking at some fantastic new products and catching up with suppliers and industry partners.

🔋 Mobility Scooter & Power Chair Battery Care Guide 🔋

Proper battery care is essential for reliable performance and long battery life.

✔ Always give your batteries 8–12 hours of uninterrupted charge
✔ It’s not necessary to let batteries fully run down before charging
✔ Even with limited use, charge for a minimum of 8 hours
❌ Avoid frequent short charges – these can damage battery cells and shorten battery life

🗓 In storage or not in use?
✔ Recharge batteries at least once a week
✔ Once charging is complete, unplug the charger from both the mains and the scooter

Looking after your batteries means better performance, longer lifespan, and fewer replacements.
