Most of what's on our Page are 'how to' posts designed to help you get your body to a better, healthier place. I'm aware though that sometimes problems are not always mechanical, and sometimes the 'fix' isn't a physical one. Emotional crisis is just as real as physical crisis…

So for now, forget the diet changes, the supplements and the exercises, and just do nothing! Rest. Put your feet up. Look after yourself. Eat what makes you happy. Be kind to yourself. Heal.

We'll always be here to help with the physical stuff, but your mind is also very important.

Patients come and see us with multiple issues, but we tend to see a lot of them with the same type of sciatica. Sciatica is generally an easy fix – but you won’t hear that anywhere else! The origin of sciatica is normally a disc bulge or hernia touching a nerve, and the origin to the bulge is a distorted spine, especially the pelvis.

So if the spine and pelvis are straightened out, the disc starts to behave as it’s meant to and it puts less pressure on the nerve. Makes sense doesn’t it?!

And yet there are so many patients out there with agonising sciatica, who are either living with the pain, maxed out on painkillers and/or attending physio clinics, but not getting better!

So the next time a friend or family member mentions the word ‘sciatica’, send them our way to get fixed properly. They will most likely thank you forever!

So many patients we see have been given painkillers from their GP or exercises from their physio - when what they really need is to get fixed. Time to stop masking the pain and book an appointment to fix your problem correctly!
