π Halloween Ideas to Avoid the Sweets (and Still Have Fun!)
1. Make a spooky protein plate β think boiled egg βeyeballs,β cucumber βwitch fingers,β and low-calorie dips like quark or fat free yogurt with herbs.
2. Have a themed movie night with candles, a cosy blanket, and your favourite on plan treat or bar or hot chocolate shake instead of picking at sweets.
3. Light the pumpkins and go for a walk and admire the decorations around your area instead of opening the sweet cupboard.
4. Treat yourself differently by buying a new candle, face mask, or notebook instead of sweets. Small rewards can still feel special.
5. Plan your products ahead and if you know Halloween night will be tempting, save your bar or bites for the evening.
6. Create spooky ice lollies by blending your favourite 1:1 shake flavour and freeze them in Halloween moulds.
7. Keep sweets out of sight β if youβre buying them for others, portion them into sealed bags and store them away until needed.
8. Stay busy with a pumpkin challenge! carve, roast seeds (if your step allows), or make a Step friendly pumpkin soup.
9. Sip something warm β enjoy any of your 1:1 shakes made hot, or have a comforting mint or fruit tea instead.
10. Focus on how far youβve come β take a before-and-after photo, update your measurements, or share a success in the group.
11. End the night with self-care, not sugar β a bath, face mask, or early night beats a sugar crash every time.
