🛍️ Retail workers… this one’s for you!
Long shifts on your feet, repetitive reaching and bending can all take a toll on your back, shoulders and legs.
Here are 3 simple stretches to help you stay mobile and pain-free through your shift.

🔹 Shoulder rolls with neck release (30 seconds)
Gently roll your shoulders back and down, then tilt your head side to side to release tension in your neck and upper back.
Perfect for easing tightness from standing at the till or reaching for stock.

🔹 Side bends (30 seconds)
Stand tall with your feet shoulder width apart. Slowly reach one hand down your side as you lean gently to that side, then switch.
Great for loosening the spine and reducing tension from long hours upright.

🔹 Quadriceps stretch (30 seconds)
Hold onto a wall or counter, grab your ankle and gently pull your heel toward your glutes.
Helps relieve tightness in the thighs after hours of standing or walking.

Take just 90 seconds between customers… your spine (and legs!) will thank you later 🙌

👷‍♂️ Construction workers… this one’s for you! 💪

Long hours on site, heavy lifting and repetitive movement can put real strain on your back, neck and legs.
Here are 3 simple stretches to help you stay strong and flexible throughout your shift 👇

🔹 Trapezius stretch (30 seconds)
Gently tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear toward your shoulder. Hold, then switch sides.
Perfect for easing tension in the neck and upper back after lifting or looking down for long periods.

🔹 Standing twist (30 seconds)
Stand tall, feet hip-width apart, and gently rotate your torso side to side.
This helps loosen your spine and improve mobility after long hours of bending and lifting.

🔹 Hamstring stretch (30 seconds)
Place one heel on a step or ledge, keeping your leg straight. Lean forward slightly until you feel a stretch in the back of your thigh.
A great way to reduce tightness from squatting or standing all day.

💙 Healthcare Professionals… these 90 seconds are for you!

Long shifts, constant movement (or standing still!) and patient care can take a toll on your posture and joints.
Here are 3 simple stretches you can do between rounds or on a quick break.

🧠 Chin tucks (30 seconds)
Gently draw your chin back (like you’re making a double chin) to align your head over your shoulders. Hold for a few seconds, then release. Great for easing neck and upper back tension.

🐈 Standing cat-cow (30 seconds)
Stand tall with hands on your thighs. Inhale as you arch your back and lift your chest (cow), exhale as you round your spine and tuck your chin (cat). Perfect for keeping your spine mobile during long shifts.

🦵 Hip flexor stretch (30 seconds)
Step one foot forward into a lunge position, keeping your back leg straight and heel lifted. Gently push hips forward until you feel a stretch in the front of your hip. Switch sides. Helps relieve tightness from standing or sitting for long periods.

Take a minute between patients… your body will thank you!
