🛍️ Retail workers… this one’s for you!
Long shifts on your feet, repetitive reaching and bending can all take a toll on your back, shoulders and legs.
Here are 3 simple stretches to help you stay mobile and pain-free through your shift.
🔹 Shoulder rolls with neck release (30 seconds)
Gently roll your shoulders back and down, then tilt your head side to side to release tension in your neck and upper back.
Perfect for easing tightness from standing at the till or reaching for stock.
🔹 Side bends (30 seconds)
Stand tall with your feet shoulder width apart. Slowly reach one hand down your side as you lean gently to that side, then switch.
Great for loosening the spine and reducing tension from long hours upright.
🔹 Quadriceps stretch (30 seconds)
Hold onto a wall or counter, grab your ankle and gently pull your heel toward your glutes.
Helps relieve tightness in the thighs after hours of standing or walking.
Take just 90 seconds between customers… your spine (and legs!) will thank you later 🙌
