Card of the Day - Forgiveness

If you are struggling to forgive - consider journalling out why. And then ask yourself why again....and repeat and repeat until you get to the root.

It may not happen overnight, I believe some hurts are so deep that forgiveness can be a lengthy process. But even considering forgiving someone, or maybe even it's yourself you need to forgive, is the first step into this journey.

Forgiving others when they're not sorry is a difficult one too. But trust me, if you can do that - you can do anything. You will benefit so much from no longer carrying that energy around. Unforgiveness can weigh us down mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. It's so important for us to be able to release - so we can move on.

Be patient with yourself and your healing journey. Please remember it is not a linear process. This is a reminder also to forgive YOURSELF!

♡ The Age of Light - This card encourages you to own and embrace your power! If you've ever doubted yourself, it's time to release those fears and cast them off - so you can step into your true purpose! You've done this over many lifetimes and NOW is the time to own it! Full Moon is all about releasing, so release what no longer serves you to help you move forward.💥

♡ Share Your Voice - How many times have you regretted not speaking up? Now is the perfect time to step into the light and out of the shadows to show the world who you really are and what you stand for. This isn't always easy, however there really is no more time to play small and hide behind a mask. The world NEEDS your authentic expression and for you to stand in your beautiful truth. Trust your spirit guides implicitly and know that those who truly love you will respect and honour you in your truest expression of yourself.🗣

Full moon energies are always about releasing what no longer serves you. A quick ritual I use is to write down what I want to release, and then burn it (safely!) under the full moon and visualise how amazing it feels to drop the baggage holding me back. 🪨

Dance to your own tune! 🕺

Hands up if you spent most of your childhood, teenage and perhaps even adult years trying to fit in? 👋 HELLO! Me too...

Why do we do it? So many reasons. For me after having done some inner work on it, I simply had a desire to be liked. Is this wrong? No, I don't think so. I think its pretty normal in fact!

However, it becomes dangerous territory when you modify your behaviours or compromise elements of your personality to please others. What if all your relationships end up being based on a false persona because you are so afraid of showing your true self? Relationships rooted in fear are not built on solid foundations and in my experience, eventually crumble. ⌛

You may find that when you start expressing yourself more freely, speaking your truth and dancing to your own rhythm that people (sometimes even lifelong relationships) step away from you. Know that this is because you are highlighting unhealed stuff in them. People find change scary. But we are SUPPOSED to change, grow and evolve! We are not here to stay the same person forever! It's impossible to maintain that. That is a surefire route to become misery, close mindedness and stagnation. Life experience changes you. Flow with it. The ones who love you will flow with it too! 💑

So be like little Sammy here, and dance with life. Express yourself honestly. Be unapologetic in your truth. Don't worry about others opinions. You don't have to live with them, you have to live with YOU.

(Ps. The words of the song don't escape my sense of irony....how will I know if he really loves me...🤣)
