Job Summary
(This a fixed 3 mont post possibly leading to permanent position)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team to work with our clients with Learning Disabilities/Mental Health. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, assisting them with daily activities and promoting their independence. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing and support with dressing.
Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
Encourage clients to engage in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in Behaviour or condition to the appropriate personnel.
Foster a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to develop personalised care plans.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them feel connected and valued.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a support worker or care role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
A caring and patient attitude towards individuals requiring assistance.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting is advantageous.
Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care would be beneficial but not mandatory.

- 07:30-20:00
-08:00-20:00
- 20:00- 07:30 waking night
- SLEEPS
