Easter egg decorating was a lovely and interesting session for our residents, led by Irina one of our Nurses and our wellbeing team who introduced them to traditional Romanian Easter craft. Using onion skins, flowers, and dye, the eggs were decorated in a beautiful and creative way, with each element adding to the process.
Irina also shared the symbolism behind the tradition at Easter, where eggs represent new life and resurrection, giving the activity a deeper meaning as well as making it enjoyable. Residents found it very interesting and really engaged with learning about this custom.🪺🥰
