This afternoon was spent getting creative with button art, and it turned into such a joyful session. So many colourful, imaginative designs were made — each one completely different, full of character and beautiful.😍
On a cold, icy day outside, it was lovely to be indoors chatting, laughing, and enjoying a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A simple activity, but one that brought plenty of warmth and smiles.😊 with thanks especially to our family member volunteers who kindly supported this activity.

Thank you to Stephen Dunnett for an energised, feel-good performance that lifted the whole room. Such a fantastic atmosphere — thoroughly enjoyed by all. Stephen’s incredible performance gave a real lift to the afternoon, supporting residents’ wellbeing in a way that felt relaxed, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable.😊
Familiar songs encourage and help to boost mood, emotional comfort and memory. They create a positive atmosphere where nostalgia is a such a wonderful shared experience. 🤩

There was plenty of laughter this weekend as residents and staff got stuck into the Saran Wrap game — wrapped hands, lots of laughter and good-natured encouragement all round.
What really made it special was the enthusiasm from our HCAs, who threw themselves into the fun and made sure everyone felt included. 🤩That energy makes such a difference — turning a simple game into something uplifting and memorable.🥰

Well that was fun ! ✨ We welcomed the New Year this afternoon with a really lovely party — plenty of singing, dancing, laughter, and all the good things that make moments like this so special. The music brought back familiar memories and moments from years gone by — seeing how song can lift spirits, spark memories and create a real sense of comfort and connection. Thank you to Andy who created a fabulous atmosphere and a genuinely happy afternoon for all . 🤩

We had a fabulous Boxing Day, full of laughter and fun playing Grab the Mic 🎤
The game really jogged our musical memories, with residents singing to the familiar songs that came to mind — and some brilliant voices filling the room.🎙️
A huge thank you to our wonderful HCAs for bringing so much energy and joy — everyone had a wonderful time joining in.🤩🥰
