You haven’t done it again? OH YES WE HAVE!
Working with our colleagues at Daniel Robinson and Sons, our fleet of Limousines were part of the Children’s Panto Convoy on Saturday - an established Annual Tradition at Christmas, each year we take families who have faced a challenging your following bereavement, for a day out.
Escorted by Hertfordshire Police, our convoy of 15 limousines pick up the children and their parents to meet Santa and then be escorted to Harlow Playhouse to see the show - “Sleeping Beauty” this year, before being driven home.
Huge thanks to our Panto Dane’s - Doris & Edna and all the company staff who dress up for Christmas and give up their day to give the children a fun treat after a difficult year.

This week we were delighted to offer a talk about the work of the funeral director and a tour of the premises to local care professionals, to help them with their continued professional development. It was a real pleasure to host them, explain our role, give the opportunity for them to raise questions and dispel some of the myths around our profession.

Well done to Andy, Jacqui and Lisa, the Remembrance window is looking stunning once again this year. We are very proud to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life, from Royston and beyond.

Andy, Jacqui and Lisa welcomed some of the staff from Melbourn Springs Care Home to our funeral home this week for a talk and tour of our premises.
We discussed the role of the funeral director and how we seamlessly look after their residents when they come into our care.
After the tour, everyone received a certificate of attendance and one of our famous goody bags.
We look forward to meeting with more of their colleagues in a few weeks time.

🌟 A huge congratulations to Andy McFadyen of Newlings of Royston, who has been crowned National Funeral Director of the Year 2025!

Andy was shortlisted from 30 nominees across the country and announced as the winner at the awards ceremony on 20th September in Leicester.

💙 Andy, who was also voted Royston’s Local Hero in 2023, said: “I don’t do this job for awards or any other personal recognition, it’s all about helping local families when they need us most.”
