Winter Solstice Drum Circle

Yesterday’s drum circle was so magical. The energy in the room was calm yet incredibly powerful.

Tonight we honor Mother Night (Mōdraniht), the sacred beginning and first night of Yule. This ancient night was dedicated to the Mothers, our ancestors, protectors, and the unseen forces that give life and shape our fate.

Mother Night marks the deepest darkness of the year, a time of stillness, reflection, and remembrance. From this night forward, the light slowly returns. Before we welcome that light, we pause to honor where we come from.

Tonight, I'm taking a moment to look back and reflect on the lessons of the past year and light a candle for my goals and aspirations for the year ahead.
