There are some simple steps you can do at home and inbetween your appointments to keep your feet healthy 👣

1. Wash your feet daily with soap and warm water and dry them thoroughly afterwards especially inbetween your toes.

2. Use a good foot cream to moisturise your feet daily, ideally one that contains 10% urea is best unless advised otherwise. Do not apply this inbetween your toes.

3. Wear footwear that supports your feet and fits well and remember to change your socks daily.

4. Check your feet for any cuts, sores or anything that does not seem to be healing. Especially important with people that have diabetes.

5. Finally keep your toe nails trimmed short and straight.
