Positive Tuition - Maths and 11+ tuition

Well today’s daytime lessons have included: understanding square numbers and playing pairs to match them up ( I was told I had to include the photo with the final piles as my student won!! ), solving a Christmas mystery using algebra and making Christmas crackers by matching up sequences with the correct nth term. Christmas is creeping into Positive tuition.

3rd lesson with student. We’ve gone from expanding single brackets to expanding double to her asking can you expand triple brackets.

This week I have had students participating in my 3 hour GCSE foundation and higher workshops.

Their work ethic and motivation has been amazing!!

Just putting together my personalised learning / revision packs for my workshops next week.
Although we will all be working on specific topics, I am ensuring all students get past exam questions from their relevant exam board.

When you go out for dinner and your ex student is the waitress.
Absolutely loved bumping into this super star at the weekend. She showed courage and determination to overcome her nerves and worry about her maths exam and came out with an amazing grade (she made me cry with happiness on results day when I heard her fantastic news 😊)
Lovely to hear she’s enjoying 6th form and she’s able to go ahead and study all the A levels she wanted to!! Lilli you are an absolute star ⭐️
