I AM RUNNING A NEW EVENT THIS NOVEMBER IN AID OF CHARITY BREAST CANCER NOW.
In my classes, I have witnessed numerous women, too many women, navigate their journey through breast cancer. I have observed the determination and strength in these INCREDIBLE women, and their empowerment is truly awe-inspiring.
In a small attempt to support them, I will be donating all money raised from this event to Breast Cancer Now, and appropriately launching this during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This will be a night of what I call lush yoga - slow, gentle, nourishing. Incorporating yin and restorative poses and a deep guided relaxation.
Hope you can join me to honour yourself and to support this amazing charity.
The last week of my summer break was spent nestled in the Spanish Mountains with a group of GORGEOUS yoga teachers.
My third year on this retreat.
The first year I felt a lot of fear - the big unknown.
The second year, brave - I could do this.
This third year?? JOY! So much joy! I felt safe, I laughed, I was silly, I jumped into a river 5 times in a row! I felt like a child - no care in the world. I knew I was in a safe place, in safe hands with the divine Dawn Wright, and I revelled in it, indulged in it. And it was AMAZING!
Yoga retreats are WAY more than doing yoga. Something incredibly special happens on retreat and it’s so hard to articulate the fullness of what that is.
But the true word I think is RETREAT. To retreat from the demands of daily life - even so much as just having to walk your dog. To have NO demands on you whatsoever, to get to know who you are... it’s such a wonderful thing to experience.
It’s almost, like now as we transition into Autumn, a retreat gives you that space to transition back to you and where you are in life at that moment.
Maybe you’d like to try a retreat… i know just the lady to nurture you… 😅

What an absolute joy this first half of the year has been. To all of you who I see every week in class, to those who join me at events or on retreats, to those who I never meet but show your support, thank you!! I am taking a moment to be sentimental and truly grateful for this incredible journey and it’s because of your support. Thank you SO much.
I will be switched off until September as I spend these coming weeks simply being and seeing where my fancy takes me, so I will catch you on the other side.
If you’re yet to join me, I have TWO spaces left in my Wednesday night Yoga Flow class, and a few spaces left in Pregnancy Yoga. Other classes are now full (thank you guys 😘😘😘😘)
Or maybe you’d like to join me on retreat next year - all details just dropped and only a few rooms left to book

I could not be more PRIVILEGED to be involved in such glorious weekends.
Yoga for me is connection and what better way to connect than over a lovely weekend in the GORGEOUS Cotswolds. We connect back in with out bodies, our breath, the quiet side of our mind, with nature and with other beautiful souls.
I know that technically I am working whilst hosting these weekends, but truly, my heart is aglow with love.
Thank you to these amazing ladies for spending time and energy with me this weekend.
Thanks also to my amazing dream team of mum and Daisy, for all their help and their support.
My heart is full.

Quite simply I LOVE yoga! I have personally practiced yoga for over 20 years and yoga has always factored in my life as my beautiful mum is a true yogini (and she can often be found at my classes!). Yoga has given me a tool to manage my moods, increase my flexibility and given me some nice muscles too! I swear I have actually grown taller through my yoga practice, by building strength and improving my posture.
That is what inspired me to spend 15 months training to be a yoga teacher at the very wonderful Whitespace Yoga & Wellbeing Studio and why I am so thrilled and grateful to now call myself a fully registered 200 hour yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals. I am qualified, confident and able to share my passion of yoga with you and help bring yoga and its huge amount of benefits into your life.
I am here to keep you safe as I share my knowledge and experience; teaching you techniques to build firm foundations, helping to deepen your practice and move you in a way that is right for you and your body, finding your strength and helping to improve and manage your energy levels.
I offer classes suited to all levels, from the absolute beginner to those who have many years of practice, and now those who are pregnant. There is no competition in yoga – the practice I teach embraces each pupil's uniqueness. People are always a little nervous when first coming to a class but please rest assured that it is such a lovely thing to practice and I am here to guide you and share this wonder with you. If you are unsure of how yoga benefits you, take a look here for more details.
My style of yoga (let's face it, there are so many choices available now that it can be quite overwhelming to know where to start!) is Hatha Yoga. Hatha means balance so my focus is on building strength and length and flexibility, bringing focus into the body and the breath and then finally observing the effect this can bring to the mind. My classes are carefully sequenced, moving intelligently from posture to posture which creates a lovely flow. For me, I don't enjoy classes where I move from seated to standing, to kneeling, to lying down, to standing and so on...! I carefully plan my classes to achieve that feeling of seamless transitions, which is suitable for all levels and really enjoyable.
I ensure my class sizes are of a size that allows me to help you individually on your journey, no matter how far down the line you are, keeping you safe and working in a way that is just right for you.
