It's that time of year when you're really working on your horses fitness ready for the start of the season. Just like us they can get sore and tight muscles.

Wouldn't it be good to know a really simple technique that you can use daily, pre competition, during or after competition OR maybe you're not competing but want to do the best for your horse?

This is a SCENAR machine. Not many people have come across this but it's a valuable tool in a therapy practice.

I was originally introduced to this by show jumper, Robert Smith when over treating him and his horses. He had in turn been introduced to it by German vet when competing in Aachen. The machine had helped with a tooth abcess. It helped me with a peculiar fracture of my collar bone that was heading for surgery.

Essentially is a bio-feedback machine and originally made for astronauts use whilst in space....all very techy but can be used for a variety of things and I've found it very useful on horses. Love SCENAR!

Horse Owners Course Start Date 5th & 6th December

ReAlign Equine are really excited to confirm the start date of the first REMI Technique Course.

This weekend intensive course is specifically designed for horse owners who wish to learn the basic technique to be able to utilise some of the skills I have learnt over 17 years in practice. Enabling you to care for your horses welfare and soundness on a regular basis, in between your usual therapists visits.

The course has been designed so that you can split the days if necessary or repeat if you wish. It is very hands on and gets you learning the skills straight away, giving you the tools to do a full basic treatment by the end of the weekend. It will also give you an understanding of the theory with basic stretching techniques.

A certificate of attendance, workbook and lunch is included.

Allowing you to have a safe way to offer your horse very regular support and allow you to monitor your horses physical condition closely.
