Who’s having a fakeaway tonight? 😋 🙋‍♀️ 🙋🏻‍♂️ 🙋🏼
We’ve been talking about making our own kebabs with 5% fat mince and seasoning then baked in the oven (or airfryer), Chinese stir fries and egg fried rice, burgers and slimming world chips, nacho style feast and curry in a hurry in our groups this week… 😋
I love what I do and I love the food talk in group ❤️. I always come away with more tasty ideas to try… 🤤

New research has revealed the cost of the UK’s fast food habit – with 60% of people spending up to £50 a week on takeaways and convenience food.

Our survey of 2,000 UK adults showed that 47% of people believe they’d save a significant amount of money by cutting back – yet one in five people don’t feel confident in cooking from scratch 💔. Those that do cook at home report huge benefits though – with 46% saving money and 40% feeling healthier 🤗.

When it comes to Slimming World members, 88% reported spending up to £100 a week on takeaways before they joined. Since joining, the story is totally different with 39% of respondents saying they’ve cut out takeaways completely… by opting for healthy fakeaways instead, they’re saving a potential £5,000 a year 🤯.

"Slimming World isn't healthy, nutritious or science based and it gives you an unhealthy relationship with food!"

😔Let's be honest.....we had that unhealthy relationship BEFORE we walked through the doors, that's why we came!

😇BUT ......we came with a willingness to change, a motivation to be something different and a passion to......... "JUST DO IT!"

But somewhere along the journey, we lose our little way, instead of losing weight😢

🤯Why? BECAUSE WE STOP LEARNING.....or we never stopped long enough to even start!

You see.....GROUP is key 🔑 "weighing and going" is like paying for Swimming Lessons, putting your stuff in the locker then walking out and jumping off a pier! "Going it alone" doesn't work.......and deep down.....YOU KNOW IT!

❤️To answer questions, to give you facts, to explain science, to dispel myths and what "Doris down the road tells you".........you need GROUP...........
we need it all!!!!

😉So before anyone says "it's not based on anything factual!"...... take a look at just one page......and I promise.....the other 142 pages, brought to life with fellow members and a qualified Consultant who CARES....in your group each week WILL get you to Target.......I promise ❤️

It’s not just for the girls. We have lots of men who come to our groups to get the support and encouragement they need to make those all important healthy lifestyle changes. They always have lots of fab ideas to share for meals and snacks too ❤️

At his heaviest, Graham would wake up gasping for air – leaving him constantly exhausted 😴. Turning to food for comfort, he says his eating was out of control, putting him in a vicious cycle.
