BNI Webb Ellis - Business Networking in Rugby Green Club? Completed it, mate.

The trains were a masterclass in disappointment, but the pre-event Guinness stepped up, silky, creamy, and doing all the heavy lifting.
We rolled in like the Webb Ellis entourage we clearly are, absolutely deserving of slow-motion cinematic entrance music.

The beer flowed, the shots went down with worrying enthusiasm, and the karaoke? Let’s just say West End casting directors should probably return our calls. Power stances were taken. High notes were attempted. Dogs in neighbouring postcodes may still be recovering.

Old BNI friends, big laughs, and food so good it deserved its own standing ovation.

A class night. Green Club: completed, signed, sealed, delivered.

At BNI Webb Ellis - Business Networking in Rugby, supporting our members is what we do best, and last week we had something truly special to celebrate! 🎉

Our wonderful president, Andrea Lennard from Pure Pegasus Coaching, has officially spread her wings into a beautiful new office at The Heart of the Shires Shopping Village. This charming spot will now be her base for guiding people on their wellness journeys through Rapid Transformational (RTT) Mental Strength Coaching.

The chapter came together to toast this exciting milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations, Andrea Lennard, on opening your new premises! It’s a gorgeous location in an idyllic setting, and we’re all cheering you on as you begin this next chapter in your business journey.

Christmas has come early at BNI Webb Ellis - Business Networking in Rugby! ✨ 🎄

As we walked into our weekly meeting at the beautifully decorated Draycote Hotel, the twinkle of lights and festive décor instantly set the mood, you can’t help but feel the Christmas spirit in the air. It’s a true treat for the eyes and the perfect backdrop for a morning filled with connection and cheer.

Our meetings are more than just business, they’re a space where local professionals come together to share wins, support each other through challenges, and keep the positive momentum going. After all, running a business comes with its highs and lows, and this community really knows how to lift each other up.

Last week, we were inspired by Rebecca Layton-Smith, who delivered a heartfelt 10-minute presentation about her journey as a mortgage broker. Hearing her story and the personal challenges that fuel her passion for helping others reminded us all why purpose matters in business.

And this week, we’re getting charged up! ⚡

Lewis Marks from Top Marks Electrical will be taking the spotlight with his feature presentation. He’ll be sharing insights, practical tips, and maybe even a few behind-the-scenes stories from his electrical projects that power homes and businesses across the region.

BNI Midlands Green Club – A Night to Remember 🌿

What a fantastic evening at the BNI Green Club last week! The atmosphere was full of energy, you could really feel that sense of connection, collaboration, and community that makes this group so special.

One of the highlights for me was the launch of BNI Basxter's Coventry chapter, such a great addition to the network and a real boost of fresh enthusiasm. And a big shoutout to Baxter Baristas, who kept us all going with amazing food and coffee throughout the night.

Another lovely moment was seeing Karena Ellis-Greenway and Malcolm Freeman from Rugby Webb Ellis BNI Ellis receive her 100-point pen – a well-deserved recognition of her hard work and dedication.

Then came the after-party… and it was brilliant! From AR darts and pool to shuffleboard and a bit of inter-chapter competition, there was no shortage of laughs (and maybe a bit of friendly rivalry!). We even ended the night with some karaoke, which definitely brought out a few hidden talents. 🎤

It’s evenings like this that remind me why I love being part of BNI Midlands, it’s not just about business, it’s about building real relationships with passionate, driven people.

Here’s to more nights like this one, full of connection, fun, and shared success. 💚

A quiz night to remember 🧠

Last night, the BNI Webb Ellis - Business Networking in Rugby crew swapped laptops for quiz sheets as we headed to the Sky Blue Tavern in Coventry for a charity quiz night, brilliantly organised by Loveitts Estate Agents.

We came armed with some top-tier team names:

📚 The Know-It-Alls
🧭 Quiztopher Columbus
🎶 Quizzy Rascals

With names like that, you’d think “The Know-It-Alls” would take home the trophy… but nope, we landed in last place and proudly accepted our consolation prize: wooden spoons. 😅

Still, luck was on our side in the raffle, with a few of the team bagging some great prizes, so it wasn’t all bad news!

It was such a fun evening full of laughter, delicious food, and great company. Huge thanks to Loveitts for putting on such a brilliant event.

Their chosen charity for 2025, Shine A Light Childhood Cancer Support, does incredible work supporting families affected by childhood cancer. Sam Schoolar and her team are doing amazing things, and we’re proud to support them however we can Rugby Webb Ellis BNI.

It was another great morning at Rugby Webb Ellis BNI Ellis in Rugby this week! ☕️

We were thrilled to welcome our newest member, Rian Chauhan from The Geek Guys. Although new to our chapter, Rian’s no stranger to BNI, he’s been part of the network for five years and has now joined us to expand his connections here in Rugby. We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see the collaborations that follow.

We also had an insightful presentation from Dan Dandridge of Dandridge Tiling and Bathrooms, who gave us a behind-the-scenes look at his work. Dan talked us through what goes into creating beautifully finished spaces, from the precision of tiling to the craftsmanship that makes each bathroom unique. His passion for detail really shines through in everything he does.

And to top it all off, our chapter stats were off the charts, over £25,000 worth of business has already been passed this month! 💥
