Christine Anderson Theatre School is based in Hillmorton & Houlton and offers a wide range of dance classes in IDTA Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz aswell as our Stage Club and Festival Team! (International Dance Teachers Association) for Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap & Theatre Craft. We have a Safeguard Policy, and all Teachers have DBS, First Aid, and full official Dance qualifications. Our basic classes all INCLUDE โ BALLET, MODERN JAZZ, THEATRE CRAFT, TAP, and GYMNASTIC AGILITIES. Dance is taught on a kind of building block system called Grades, starting with PREPARATORY, & PRIMARY (from 4 โ 6 years) then on to Grades 1 โ 5 and then (6, 7, & 8 Ballet only) and on to Majors! We follow the Graded syllabus in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, & Tap. The children are always excited and highly motivated to take their Exams and move on! We are proud to share your enjoyment of their achievements! New Parents are welcome to attend 1 class initially to see if your child will join in, but then once Registered, asked to leave as quickly as possible so that the class can begin!!! Our CATS uniform is compulsory so that all the children have a feeling of belonging and are part of the Team! We are looking for children with potential who want to perform, and commitment from their Parents, as opportunities abound! We are also now offering Acro, Street/Commercial and Contemporary Classes!
