Update!
For the first time in 35 years I have a straight right leg and a knee that sits how it should.
After surgery I found out that they had twisted my tibia bone a massive 30 degrees. It was 54 degrees externally twisted to begin with. Which was an extensive twist they told me.
Considering how extensive this surgery was I was surprised to see how small and neat my scars were when I had my stitches removed yesterday.
I still have no use of my leg, canโt lift it or bend it.
Itโs a very strange feeling. I can see my leg, I can physically feel my leg but it doesnโt feel apart of me.
Iโm trying my best with exercises but the pain is something else. Iโm hoping this eases over the next few weeks but physio starts next week ๐คข
Iโm 2 weeks post op now. I have a long journey ahead of me still but I have the most incredible support ๐ซถ๐ผ
