To all of our patients, new and old we are currently experiencing high volumes of prescriptions at this present time due to a closure of another community pharmacy.

With this in mind we ask all patients to give us an extra 48hrs to order stock, label, dispense, check and do a final check on your repeat prescriptions. We ask this for one reason.

1) Safety - we need to ensure your prescriptions are correct and safe for you. That is our no.1 priority.

Please be aware Fake Scottish Note used in our Pharmacy yesterday.
We had no clue until we took it to the banking hub to get change .
The cashier said it was a very good fake .

FLU & COVID VACCINES AUTUMN 2025🦠💉

It's that time of the year, vaccines! We will be offering the flu and covid vaccine for eligible patients from the 1st of October.

If you wish to BOOK, then you can do this via the NHS WEBSITE -> https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/vaccination-and-booking-services/book-covid-19-vaccination/

If you can not access the internet, you can call 119 for FREE.

CURRENT ELIGIBILITY FOR COVID VACCINE,

Must be aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2026)

are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment

live in a care home for older adults

CURRENT ELIGIBILITY FOR FLU VACCINES

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)

have certain long-term health conditions
are pregnant

live in a care home

are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance

live with someone who has a weakened immune system

Frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer

Eligibility may change, but this will be determined by the NHS. We will update as we know more.

Walk - ins will be welcome, but please bare in mind that our clinics can be very busy at the start, so wait times may increase.
