Sclerotherapy is a gold standard treatment for leg veins and telengectasias . Also called spider thread veins, these tend to spread like spider web and normally we see clusters of purple/red/green veins all over legs. Tiny doses of sclerosant are injected into these veins to obliterate these. Few weeks after the dead collapsed veins disperse.
