We celebrated Indian Indepedence Day yesterday by sharing some traditional savoury snacks, and enjoyed a quiz about India and its history.

🎄Merry Christmas! We have exchanged gifts and sat down to a delicious Xmas lunch.

🍗Residents chose between Turkey, Salmon or a Vegetable roast, all the trimmings including a traditional christmas cake, trifle or yule log.

🥂Residents enjoyed sparking fruit juice, white or red wine and alcohol free options.

📺 Keeping the festive tradition alive, we watched the Kings Speech and are looking forward to an afternoon quiz (and perhaps a nap!)

🤝We hope you are having an enjoyable day so far with friends, family and loved ones.

We are so close to Christmas Day! in the run up to the big day we welcomes staff from graneroloungeruislip whose Christmas gifts were given to grateful residents. This is a wonderful community scheme which is now in its 2nd year and which we are so thankful for.

🎄We welcomed Hillingdon Mayor Corthorne to Poplars yesterday as part of a shared activity with Connex.

Residents enjoyed speaking the Major and received his warm Christmas greetings. The connex team held an interactive reminiscence session and christmas themed activities, including a visit from Santa himself! 🎅
