Teen Gym Chester - Underway 🏋️🏋️🙌🏻🙌🏻

Last night we launched Teen Gym Chester with huge success!

Expanding our concept from Runcorn to Chester has been an aspiration for some time and last night we finally got our first session in the bank which was fully booked.

A nice easy focus on barbell work, including deadlift plus lots of conditioning exercises such as rowing, kettlebell swings and squats formed the basis of our first session 🏋💪🏻

We are extremely grateful for parents for their support and patience in finally bringing a fully funded Teen Gym offer to Chester, and thanks to the Million Hours Fund for funding this offer 👏🏻👏🏻

Weekly Wellbeing Starting Line Up 🏋️❤️👇🏻😴

This week we restart Teen Gym Runcorn and start our Teen Gym sessions in Chester, alongside another packed week of activities, sessions and programmes to help improve health, fitness, sleep and more.

We have school programmes, sleep clinics, sessions for teenagers not engaged in education or work, and adult fitness - ALL FREE.

📍 Teen Gym – Studio Two & Queens Park
📆 Tues, Weds & Thurs • 5pm
🏋️‍♂️ Coached gym sessions for teenagers, providing alternate evening activity.

📍 Adult Strength Training – Studio Two
📆 Tue & Thurs • 6:30pm
🔥 Fully coached strength sessions for adults of all abilities.

📍 Simple Yoga – The Heath
📆 Mon • 3:30pm
🧘 A calming, gentle flow with Shona, perfect for releasing tension.

📍 After School Club – Palacefields
📆 Mon–Fri • 3:15–4:15pm

SEND Short Breaks ✅❤️🙏🏼

We’re really pleased to share that we have been approved to deliver SEND Short Breaks in partnership with Halton Borough Council.

Starting soon, we’ll be running our SEND Sport & Wellbeing Saturdays 🧡

🗓 Every Saturday (term time)
⏰ 10am – 12 noon

These sessions are designed to give young people with additional needs a safe, structured and supportive environment to take part in:

✔️ Entry level sport activities
✔️ Art, creativity and discovery sessions
✔️ Opportunities to socialise and engage
✔️ A chance for families to access valuable respite

All session phases can be adapted ensuring we can support every child in the most effective way.

Wednesday 22nd April we’ll be launching our weekly Teen Gym programme at Queens Park High School, Chester.

📍 Queens Park High School, Handbridge
📆 Weds 22nd April - 5pm
🏋️ Led by experienced strength and conditioning coaches.

Sessions are open to all teens aged 11+, no matter their starting point.

Strength training for teenagers can be crucial to building routine and structure, supporting healthy growth, plus creating resilience.

And just like that, we’re back.

Our Teen Gym sessions in Runcorn are now open for booking for the new term, with sessions restarting from Tuesday 21st April.

📍 Studio Two, The Heath, Runcorn
📆 Tue, Weds and Thurs
⏰ 5pm onwards
👥 Open to young people aged 11+

This isn’t just a gym session.

It’s a place to build confidence, create routine, and be part of something positive.

No experience needed. Just turn up, get involved, and bring best efforts.

🧘 Simple Yoga
⏰ Every Monday at 3:30pm
📍 The Heath Gym, Runcorn

A calm, light session focused on movement, basic poses and helping you switch off. If you’re new or just need something steady, this fits.

🏋🏻‍♀️ Adult Strength Training
⏰ Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm
📍 Studio Two, The Heath Gym, Runcorn

These are small group, coached sessions where you’ll learn how to train properly, build strength and feel more comfortable in the gym.

Following an incredible Easter half term, we are back with our regular termly activities with lots sessions activities coming across the next few weeks.

As per our regular roll into the new school term, sessions will build throughout the next two weeks.

📍 After School Club - Palacefields ⚽️
📆 Mon - Fri • 3.15pm - 4.15pm
After school club for Palacefields Primary students, energy, creativity and movement for young people including sport and games.

📍 Simple Yoga - The Heath Gym 🧘
📆 Mon • 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Simple yoga session led by Shona, suitable for all levels of experience and fitness, working on building flexibility.

📍 Adult Fitness – Studio Two 🔥
📆 Tuesday & Thursday • 6:30pm
Coach-led strength sessions designed to help you move better, get stronger, and build fitness that actually lasts. Suitable for all levels — just turn up and get started.

📍 Sleep Clinics – SBW Heath Office 😴
📆 Friday • 10am - 2pm
Sleep clinics (by appointment only) providing sleep sleep support for individuals and families to improve sleep quality, routines, and overall wellbeing.
