A very important ask for an amazing child who is supported in music therapy by our friends at George's Rockstars. Sophie has moved to end of life care and her friends are asking those in the music world if you can make her dream come true, please be in touch. 🌟

We are reaching out with a heartfelt and urgent plea 💔

An incredibly brave little girl, just 9 years old, is currently receiving end-of-life care after her liver transplant has sadly failed. She is now too poorly for the multi-organ transplant she desperately needed, and her family are focusing on keeping her comfortable and surrounded by love.

She has been through more in her short life than most of us could ever imagine, yet she remains full of light and courage.

Her absolute dream is to meet Harry Styles. She even has tickets to see him this June but heartbreakingly, it is now very unlikely she will be here to attend.

We have supported this beautiful family for the past few years, and we are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, if anyone can help make this one last wish come true. A message, a video, or if at all possible a visit would mean everything to her and her family in this incredibly difficult time.

Please share this far and wide. Let’s try to reach Harry or someone in his team who can help make a little girl’s dream come true.

For young children a music group can be incredibly beneficial for socialising, play, language development, rhythm, coordination, confidence and of course expression. Music matters! This is a wonderful new music group for children in Selsey run by music therapist, Anna. If you are close by we highly recommend getting in touch with The Music Nest and giving them a follow on socials. 🎶

I wanted to introduce myself as the face behind The Music Nest. I am a Mum or two boys aged 3 and 6 living in Selsey. I play the flute and piano and have been a music therapist for the past 14 years. I have seen countless times the way that young children engage with music spontaneously and absolutely love it, whilst at the same time developing a whole host of new skills (more about that in later posts). I am so looking forward to starting this group and I hope you will join me on the journey!

On this final day of , we’re sharing a beautiful picture from the therapy room, alongside a parent’s words about the positive impact music therapy with our wonderful therapist Anna has had on her daughter. Because the reason we raise the funds, make the films, attend the festivals and present our work is to ensure music therapy is accessible to those who need it most.

Dear Victoria

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the continued support you and your charity provide. The work you do genuinely makes a difference, and we feel very fortunate to be part of it.

In particular, I would like to recognise Anna and the incredible job she is doing. Her approach, care, and consistency have had a real impact. The progress D is making is significant, and it is clear that Anna plays a key role in that journey.

We are seeing meaningful changes in D’s engagement, responsiveness, and overall development, which is something we do not take for granted. It is a reflection of both Anna’s skill and the wider support of your organisation.

Thank you again for everything you do. It means more than we can fully express.

What a gorgeous start to the new term under blue skies, kicking off the new season with the launch of more exciting projects and partnerships... 🌟
Our day started with a meeting with producer Matt from BBC Children in Need looking at contributing to their Autumn appeals across TV and radio. Followed by a pivotal meeting with the ever lovely Professor Marcus Smith finalising the brilliant collaboration between Waves and Clem Burke Drumming Project launching in June 2026 (so much more on that to come) and a workshop this week we are really looking forward to with Milk Honey Bees
A generous donation dropped this morning from The Shramore Trust whose support means everything, and an unexpected and hugely welcome donation from the family of EKT.
A full summer term of Music Therapy, Rapper in Residence, songwriting and immersive music to come and gearing up for a hazy summer of festivals with two new festivals added to the calendar.
Our continued thanks to all of our musicians, our therapists and practitioners, our partners, those behind the scenes, our brilliant volunteers and incredible board of Trustees.

"I think I’ll remember all of it forever. I don’t think I could pick one moment.”

This reflection came from one of our brilliant Nescot College Creative Media students following our music workshop on Friday. We're partnering with students across the year to produce 5 short films that capture our work through young people’s lens.

Friday's workshop will form the 2nd film in the series. Working to a live client brief, students captured original footage, vlogs, interviews and reflections, creating their experience of the transformative power of music, all while building portfolios and meaningful, real-world experience from an enthusiastic client!

Creative Media lecturer Ben Lewis shared: “I don’t think in my last two-and-a-bit years at NESCOT I have witnessed such a special few hours inside a classroom. We have had many partnerships as a department, but I believe this will produce some of the best work our students have created.”

The 5 films will be launched at a special showcase in June, celebrating a portfolio of student work with real-life impact for our charity. Huge thanks to the students, to Ben, to for the awesome workshop, Matthew Lonsdale and for the partnership, and to , whose support makes these workshops
