IMPORTANT PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION

Overtoun Medical Practice is undergoing an essential IT system upgrade & installation between 19th March and 25th March 2026. The repeat prescription line will not be available during this period. If you expect your prescription to fall due during this time, please order early and we will accept requests for early issues from 2nd March.
In order to prepare for this, we will be providing reduced services during the period 16th March to 7th April and there will be no pre-bookable appointments during this period.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

IMPORTANT
PATIENT NOTICE

Overtoun Medical Practice will operate a limited service only from Monday 16th March until Tuesday 7th April inclusive.

This is to allow for an essential IT installation and upgrade. During this period, there will be no advanced booking of appointments and limited computerised information will be available.

Patients requiring attention or advice should contact the surgery as normal. Patients who attend the surgery will experience long waiting times.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are open for additional winter hours for Out Of Hours Emergencies on the following dates:

Saturday 10th January 8.30-12.30pm
Saturday 17th January 8.30-12.30pm
Saturday 24th January 8.30-4.30pm
Saturday 31st January 8.30-4.30pm

Please note these additional hours are not for routine appointments or enquries and are to relieve pressures on Acute Hospital sites.
