When a person with dementia is nearing the end of their life, compassionate care is essential for their comfort and dignity. 💙

This can include making clear plans, thinking about where the person will be cared for and that any religious, spiritual or cultural beliefs are respected.

Over two decades of scientific research has shown that listening to a personalised playlist can improve the lives of those living with dementia. A personalised playlist is a low-cost and unique tool which can bring joy and highlight the ‘me’ in dementia. From managing symptoms of dementia to strengthening connections with family and carers, a playlist has so many benefits.

Minor injuries units are designed for the assessment and treatment of injuries of a potentially painful, but non-life-threatening, nature.

If you need to be seen by Minor Injury Services, you can arrange this by phoning NHS24 on 111.

Minor Injuries Units can be used for a range of illnesses & injuries such as:
- Sprains
- Strains
- Burns
- Bites and Cuts

NHS 24 can also offer additional assessment options, so they may advise you that you are able to access quicker treatment from another service.
