Today, we’re introducing Endurance 👋

Endurance is a recent addition to the Maximus team and has described his recruitment journey as smooth, supportive, and a truly welcoming start to his new role.

When speaking about joining Maximus, Endurance shared:
"I’m truly excited to be part of such an amazing team. I enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives—helping them feel safe, valued, and more independent. I also love learning new skills and focusing on my personal development."

With over 4 years of experience in Health and Social Care, including previous work as a Mental Health Support Worker, Endurance brings both passion and valuable expertise to the team.

Outside of work, you’ll find him exploring new places, listening to music, or enjoying video games 🎮

Today we’re introducing Laura.

Laura has been part of the Maximus team for 3 years and brings with her an impressive 15 years of experience in care.

She has a wealth of knowledge and has supported many individuals as they transition from their previous homes or care providers to Maximus, helping them settle in and feel comfortable in their new environments.

When speaking with Laura, she shared that what she loves most about her role is making a real difference in the lives of the people she supports. She enjoys helping individuals achieve their goals and feels proud to be part of their journey.

Laura builds strong, positive relationships with the people she supports. She is passionate about promoting independence and encouraging individuals to work towards their dreams and personal goals.

At Maximus Support Services, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to those who need it. Our goal is to ensure that every individual we work with feels safe, respected, and supported in their daily lives. 💙

Did you know that we are able to support children as well as adults?

Supporting children brings a completely different dynamic to care. Every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, routines, and needs. Providing the right support requires patience, understanding, and a nurturing approach so that children feel comfortable, supported, and able to grow in confidence.
We understand that families sometimes need extra support, whether it’s short-term help during a difficult time or ongoing assistance to help maintain a balanced routine. Being able to step in and provide that support is something we feel truly privileged to do. Our team works closely with families to ensure that the care we provide is tailored to each child’s individual needs and circumstances.
Seeing the positive difference that the right support can make is incredibly rewarding. From helping children build independence and confidence, to giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in safe and caring hands, every small step matters.

Meet the faces behind Maximus Support Services!

This is Tracy, who has been with Maximus for 3 years!

Tracy is often the first person new staff speak to or meet, as a huge part of her role focuses on recruitment. When talking about her job, Tracy shared: “There are many jobs that I juggle and I'm constantly swapping hats, but I love it! I love supporting the staff, spending time with the people we support, and having a fantastic team around me.”

Tracy has worked in care her entire career and has held a variety of roles — from Support Worker to Registered Manager. She also took a three-year break from care settings to deliver Health and Social Care qualifications. With this breadth of experience, Tracy is well-equipped to guide and support staff through the many challenges and rewarding moments that come with working in care.

Outside of work, you’ll find Tracy spending quality time with her children, reading, and enjoying games nights with family and friends.

Meet the faces behind Maximus Support Services!

This is Jennie, who has been a valued member of the team for the past four months and is thoroughly enjoying her role.

When speaking about her experience, Jennie shared:
“I enjoy working for Maximus because they are a very supportive team, and I like being part of a team that’s making a huge difference to the quality of our service users’ lives.”

With over 7 years of care experience, Jennie also works at the hospital within the Breast Screening Unit, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. She uses the diverse skills and experience she has developed over the years to provide high-quality, person-centred support to the individuals we work with.

When she’s not at work, Jennie enjoys spending her downtime on her motorbike 🏍
