A huge shout out to everyone who took part in our first race of 2026 yesterday at Oundle. Conditions were decidedly baltic but that didn't stop our runners from embracing the elements.

🎄 Merry Christmas from the Nice Work team

As the year draws to a close here at Nice Work HQ, we pause with mince pies and festive tunes to reflect on the last 12 months. With 150 races delivered, 2025 has been a year of real achievement, from record entries and fundraising to new races, awards and key milestones along the way.

Most importantly, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of that journey. To our runners, volunteers and partners, and to our Nice Work green dream team, you are the heartbeat of Nice Work, powering our events from behind the scenes all the way through to race day delivery.

Yesterday saw our last race of 2025, and a final chance to cram in some festive word play!

It was a Muddy Christmas as ever at Pett on Saturday for the Pudding Dash - not one to attract three wise men (though a camel would help in certain parts)! That didn't stop folks embracing the spirit and having a great time - and if there were any shepherds there, they would definitely be washing their socks by night! 🎵

Sunday saw our final race with the Kent Christmas Cracker over at Betteshanger Park and there was no lesser Christmas spirit nor fancy dress. Aside from following the signs, they followed the stars (on the Christmas tree outfits) and completed their 5m or 2m race!

It was fab across both races to see our junior runners excitedly complete their race and get their medals too!

So, for one last time this year, lets see those awesome medals for our final of 2025!

Coast or country? 🌊🌿
Why not have both.

Two great partner events in Kent are coming up in 2026, each offering something a little different.

The Girlings Ashford & District RRC 10 & 5 Mile in February takes runners out onto the country lanes around Westwell, with both 10 mile and 5 mile options.

Later in the year, the Folkestone Coastal 10k returns in May, with a fast, flat route along the promenade and plenty of sea air along the way. There’s also a junior race for younger runners.

This weekend sees our final Christmas races and our final events for 2025!

Depending where you are headed, there will be mud, miles, fancy dress, flat roads but always the guarantee of smiles as we bring down the curtain on a truly epic year. We have much to look back on with pride, but first, we're at the Christmas Pudding Dash in Pett on Saturday where mud is on the menu. Sunday then sees the Kent Christmas Cracker at Betteshanger Park where it is tarmac all the way.
