🚑 Another Busy Weekend for Local Medics & Ambulance Services 🚑

Today we have 11 staff deployed across multiple locations and events, showcasing the breadth of cover our team provides:
🏃 20K Run in Cannock
🚴 BMX event on the East Coast
🏏 Cricket match crowd cover
🐎 Ongoing cover at a regular equestrian venue in the South

And that’s just part of a very busy weekend for our crews including👇
⚽ Good Friday – Covering 2 football clubs, including Paramedic‑led medical provision
🏃‍♂️ Saturday – Technician‑led team supporting a Half Marathon

A huge thank you to all our clinicians and support staff working hard to keep participants, spectators and organisers safe. Proud of the team and the standards we deliver wherever we’re deployed. 💙

🌍 Not just a one‑event weekend for LMAS!

While part of our team was supporting Astrix Waterside Medical in Reading, the rest of LMAS were out across the country delivering expert medical cover wherever it was needed.

This weekend we had teams on:
⚡ Our Regular BMX event (Summer Series started here!)
⚽ Women's Football game
🎪 A show build with DC Event Medical
🥾 A charity hike in Shropshire
🛼 Roller derby in the North East
💃 A dance show in the South West
🏉 Tag rugby in London
🤝 A First Responder supporting Para Services Ltd at a trade show in the Midlands
🎓 And three of our team covering a university event in the East

From the North East to the South West, London to Shropshire, and everywhere in between — LMAS provided multiple teams, multiple resources, and support to multiple partner organisations.

📊 30 shifts delivered across England, plus our incredible Admin & Ops teams keeping everything running behind the scenes.

☀️ A brilliant day in the sun supporting our friends at Astrix Waterside Medical in Reading!

Today we were proud to assist their Half Marathon coverage with a team of three Cycle Responders and two First Responders, working seamlessly alongside a large multi‑agency team.

Seeing multiple organisations come together with one shared goal really shows the strength of collaboration and the professionalism across our industry.

A huge thank you to David and the entire Astrix team for having us. We look forward to working with you again soon.

Busy day for the LMAS Team! 🐴⚽🚑

We’ve been horsing around today providing full medical cover at an equestrian event.

Last night, our team were out again delivering both crowd and player cover at football.

All while preparing and gearing up for another busy weekend of events ahead with 14 staff out over the two days!

Proud of our team for their continued hard work and commitment across the UK. 💛💚

We were proud to provide medical cover across a brilliant range of events including:
- BMX thrills & spills
- A fantastic running event with a large Paramedic led team
- A stunning bird show
- And our regular football ground coverage.

🚑 A Busy Start to the Weekend for LMAS!

Our Operations Team were in early this morning getting both vehicles packed, checked, and ready to deploy. Behind the scenes, our ops workload continues to grow — and this winter is certainly our busiest ever.

Today, our crews are heading out in different directions to cover a wide range of events, including:
• 🚴‍♂️ A BMX event
• 🏃‍♀️ A Half Marathon
• 🦅 A Bird Show
• 🐎 Showjumping
• ⚽ Two football clubs

No matter the location or event, we’re proud to deliver professional, reliable medical cover across the UK — 7 days a week.

A huge thank you to Lost Yak today for giving our Cycle Response Units some much‑needed TLC. All three bikes fully serviced, checked, tested, oiled, parts replaced, and now absolutely ready for the busy season ahead.

Our CRU teams support a wide range of events, staffed from Responders right through to Paramedics depending on event needs and risk assessments. These units make a real difference on the ground, and keeping them in top condition is essential.

While the bikes were being worked on, we also finalised another policy, signed off by our Clinical Leadership Team, just in time for football cover this evening.

No signs of slowing down as we ramp up towards a packed event season. Onwards & Upwards!

🏃‍♂️ 10 of our staff deployed on a Midlands Half Marathon, including a Cycle Response Paramedic.

⚽ Providing cover for two football clubs, including a dedicated dual qualified Ambulance Technician & EMFAiF pitch-side medic

📝 Staff compliance checks – confirming training, certifications, and documentation are all in order.

🚑 Vehicle maintenance booked – keeping our fleet in top condition so we’re always ready to respond.

📦 Weekend prep in full swing – stocking, organising, and planning for another busy run of events.

A busy weekend for the team with 23 staff out.

From Football Matches in the Midland and Hampshire, to Paramedic Level Teams supporting a Half Marathon in the North East, we've also had teams supporting a music venue in Birmingham & an ongoing Film Set as well.

Just because we're not the most active on Social Media doesn't mean we aren't active in the field & on the jobs.

And alongside this we've also had our Doctor & Pharmacist renew all our PGDs as we push towards our CQC registration.
