Today, we stand at the threshold of balance at the Autumn Equinox, when light and dark share the sky in equal measure. From this moment forward, we begin our slow descent into the darker half of the year, much like Persephone’s journey into the underworld. Her myth reminds us that descent is not loss, but initiation , a passage through time into the hidden mysteries that transform us from within.
As Persephone steps into shadow, she does not vanish, but she evolves. Her story whispers of cycles, of endings woven into beginnings, of clarity revealed in the quiet of surrender and going within. This week’s New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo is a powerful turning point An invitation to pause, reassess, and realign. Virgo, is the archetype of the healer, teacher, and humble servant, bringing the focus to health, work, routine, boundaries, and service . but not at the cost of self.
