On behalf of Cam Valley Crematorium I was delighted to present Captain Katrina Thurlow of The Salvation Army, Saffron Walden with donations from our Carol Service. The money will go towards supporting current projects in our local community.

Please come and join us for our Carol Service. During the service there will be the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one. Place a message on the Christmas Remembrance Tree.
After our Carol Service light refreshments will be served.
Tickets are free of charge but please let us know if you would like to come so we can do reserve you seating.

Cam Valley proudly held a service of Dedication on Wednesday 12th September. The Dedication Service was led by The Bishop of East Anglia The Right Reverend Alan Hopes assisted by a range of religious and secular leaders with readings from Rev Alex Jeewan of the Saffron Walden & Villages Team Ministry, Rev John Goddard of the Saffron Walden Baptist Church and Rev Caroline Rodden of Saffron Walden URC and Debra Heywood, a local Civil Celebrant . In attendance were Civic Dignitaries Cllr Paul Fairhurst, The Mayor of Saffron Walden, Cllr Lesley Wells, Chairman of Uttlesford District Council, some local Councillors as well as representatives from all areas of the Funeral profession and invited guests.
Thankfully the weather was kind to us adding to the enjoyment of this very special day for Cam Valley Crematorium.

A very personal tribute last week when Kevin from Weyman of Cambridge brought not only the motorcycle hearse with a large collection of motorbikes following behind but also a Peregrine Falcon who sat on the coffin for the duration of the the service.
