Roughly half of us will be embalmed, even though there’s no legal or hygienic reason why we should be. Here’s what embalming really involves and why we prefer a natural approach.

Rosemary Eunice Key.
Rosemary passed peacefully away at Philiphaugh Residential Home St Columb Major on wednesday the 3rd of February 2021 at the grand old age of 94 years.
Rosemary was born in Bristol and moved with her Mother and Father to St Agnes in 1930.
Her Father built Quay Garage for Rosemary and her Mother, but shortly after passed away. Rosemary ran the garage with her mother untill she passed away in the late 1970's. Rosemary continued the garage, selling petrol oil and other motoring consumables, also ice cream sweets, fishing tackle, bait buckets and spades, she also ran a taxi service from there.
In the 1990's Rosemary retired and sold off the Garage site, which subsequently became a Undertakers! Rosemary continued to live in her little cottage behind the Garage untill old age got the better of her and in 2016 moved into Philiphaugh Residential home for a well earned rest.

Friends neighbours and aqaintences who wish to pay their respects , we will be bringing Rosemary back down Quay to the beach and then back up to her old home pausing , then up through the village and on to Treswithian Downs Crematorium. We intend to start from the beach at 11.20 am.
