We are recruiting for Ambulance Care Assistants to join our rapidly growing team. If you have experience of caring for people, great customer care and communication skills with the public, then we would love to hear from you. We will provide successful candidates with their FREC3 & ACA training for this full time position.

Job Role:
* Responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients.
* Ensuring timely transportation to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care.
* Making sure that patients are comfortable and secure at all times
* Cleaning the ambulance, making sure all patient equipment is working and restocking supplies
* Carrying out a daily inspection of the ambulance, checking tyres, petrol, oil and water.
* Full training and induction will be provided

We are recruiting for additional Ambulance Care Assistants.

* Driving the patients to pre-arranged hospital and clinic appointments
* Transferring patients from one hospital to another
* Making sure that patients are comfortable and secure at all times

* Carrying out a daily inspection of the ambulance, checking tyres, petrol, oil and water.

Are you a student paramedic?
Want to gain experience and earn alongside your studies. Come and join our team in a patient facing role. MET Medical is a leading private ambulance service and also a university placement provider.

Students have reported having improved their confidence with patient care in a safe and nurturing environment.

MET Medical have opportunities for student paramedics to work on Non-emergency patient transport for the NHS, private patient transport and as part of multi-disciplinary teams at events such as music festivals and sporting events.

We have a great NQP program with guaranteed pre-loaded hours with a senior paramedic mentor and support from our Paramedic Clinical Team Educators.

Student Paramedics also get access to our all of our regular CPD opportunities.
