Lonnie, Darren, Emma and family would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended Pat’s funeral service at Penmount Crematorium on 8th September 2025, for all the cards, flowers and messages of sympathy and support they have received and for the donations for Children’s Hospice South West which totalled £1500.00

Special thanks to Stacey and her team at Paul Bourton Funeral Services whose patience, attention to detail, thoughtfulness, kindness, dignity, and compassion were exceptional.

We have seen an increase in marketing activity from some national direct cremation providers.
Many people aren’t even aware that their local independent funeral director offers the same direct cremation services; let us assure you that this is something we have always offered.

❤️Your loved one will be transferred into our care at the earliest opportunity, day or night, and they will remain in St Austell with us until the cremation takes place.
⚱️Our non-attended cremations are carried out here in Cornwall within days of the paperwork being completed and the ashes returned in the following days.
👔 We can arrange for your loved one to be dressed in their own clothing and you have the option of visiting them in our chapel of rest.

How much does it cost?
A local dignified direct cremation arranged by our team here at Paul Bourton Funeral Service costs only £1,195.

Trevor’s family and friends will miss him enormously; especially his nephew Neil and wife Justina, great-nieces: Hannah and Emma, and great-great-niece and nephew: Guinevere and Ranulph.

Funeral to be held at Penmount Crematorium (Kernow Chapel), Truro on Wednesday 29th October at 11:30 am.
