Come down and see us !

The Easter Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) will be running from Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April 2026 for all eligible children, young people, and families.

We will be holding a provider event on Monday 9th March between 4.00pm to 6.30pm at Central Link Family Hub, Peter Street, St Helens, WA10 2EB. We would like to invite parents/carers and children/young people to drop in and meet with HAF providers to have a better idea of what activities are on offer and an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have. Refreshments will be available.

Those who wish to attend must be eligible to access the HAF programme.
The programme is open to children aged 4-18 years who are eligible for and receiving benefits-related free school meals (FSM), and their families. Children who are in receipt of a support plan via Early Help, Child in Need or Children We Look After, EHCP, or if your child receives additional hours at school.

If you require any further information, please call Central Link Family Hub 01744 673445 or see the comments for Programme links.

💔✨ Some signs speak quietly — but they still need to be heard. ✨💔

Children experiencing domestic abuse may not always have the words to explain what’s happening — but their behaviour and emotions can often tell the story.

🌱 Signs to look out for:
😔 Sudden aggression or withdrawal
🩹 Unexplained injuries or bruising
🧸 Acting younger than their age (regression)
😨 Being fearful, anxious, or afraid to go home
💬 Keeping secrets about home life
🤕 Frequent headaches, stomach aches, or stress symptoms
💞 Low self-esteem or fear of an angry adult

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts.
Offer gentle support, listen without judgment, and seek professional advice if you’re concerned.

You could be the person who helps a child feel seen — and safe

Your child’s mental health matters. ✨💚

Sometimes, the signs of a struggling mind can be easy to miss — but early understanding and support can make all the difference. 🌱

💭 Here are some signs to look out for:
😔 Persistent sadness or irritability
🌧️ Excessive worry or fear
😴 Changes in sleep patterns
😡 Frequent mood swings or anger
🙈 Withdrawing from friends or activities
💔 Talking about feeling hopeless or harming themselves

If you notice these signs, show understanding, listen without judgment, and reach out for help. You’re not alone — support is available. 💬

💚 Let’s keep talking, keep caring, and keep building Healthy Minds together.

📲 Share this post to help other parents and caregivers recognise the signs early. 💫

Let’s talk about children’s mental health! ✨💚

Every child deserves to grow up with a Healthy Mind — supported, understood, and loved. 🌈

🧠 1 in 6 children in the UK have a probable mental health disorder
💬 Only 1 in 4 who need help can access it
💔 Su***de is the leading cause of death for 5–19 year olds
🌱 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14
🤝 Nearly 1 million young people are receiving support

These numbers matter — but so does hope. Together, we can change the story. 💫

💚 Let’s raise awareness, show kindness, and support young minds everywhere.

Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week 🧠

At TheraFit, we believe that strong bodies and healthy minds go hand in hand. 💚

This week, we’re shining a light on the importance of supporting children’s mental health — helping them build resilience, confidence, and joy through movement, mindfulness, and community.

Let’s come together to create a world where every child feels seen, heard, and supported. 🌈
