📢 Can you spare a few minutes to help?

We’re supporting Citizens Advice St Helens with their annual local survey — and they’re hoping to hear from as many people across the borough as possible.

Your feedback helps them understand what local people are facing right now, what support is needed, and how services can be improved in the future.

đź’¬ If you live in St Helens, please take a moment to share your views:

Every response makes a difference — especially for those who might be struggling but don’t always feel able to speak up.

The survey closes on 17th December, so if you can, please complete it and share with others who may benefit.

Thank you for helping strengthen support in our community đź’ś

💻 Digital Abuse: It’s Real, It’s Growing, and It’s Dangerous

Digital abuse isn’t always obvious.

It can look like constant messaging.
It can look like demands for passwords.
It can look like “Share your location so I know you’re safe.”
It can look like someone scrolling your phone without permission.

But beneath it all, digital abuse is about CONTROL!

For many women and girls, online spaces are no longer safe. Technology can be used to monitor, intimidate, isolate, and threaten — often long before any physical abuse is recognised.

📌 Examples of digital abuse include:
• Tracking someone’s location or movements
• Hacking emails or social media
• Monitoring messages or call logs
• Threats to share personal photos or information
• Forcing someone to block friends or family
• Using fake accounts to harass, intimidate or follow

Digital abuse can leave deep emotional harm — and in some cases, it escalates into offline violence.

If someone is controlling your technology, your privacy, or your online space — that’s not care.
That’s not concern.
That’s abuse.

You deserve safety — online and in real life.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Support is available.

Continuing Our Commitment: White Ribbon at Chrysalis

The White Ribbon campaign may officially run for a short period each year, but the message — and the need for change — continues every single day.

At Chrysalis, we stand together to take a clear and compassionate stance against violence towards women and girls. This isn’t just a statement — it’s a promise:
to listen, to believe, to support, and to work towards a safer future.

As part of continuing this movement, we’ve invited voices from within our community — clients, supporters, and therapists — to share who they stand for.
These messages represent resilience, love, remembrance, and hope.
Some honour those who are rebuilding.
Some speak for those who can’t speak yet.
Some simply remind us that no woman should walk this journey alone.

Their messages are powerful because they are real.

Together, we raise awareness.
Together, we challenge silence.
Together, we stand.

Our lived and learned experiences give us the strength to stand up, speak out, and challenge violence against women and girls. Together, we can create a safer future for everyone.

Standing Together in Solidarity — White Ribbon Campaign

Today we’re standing shoulder to shoulder to show our support for the White Ribbon Campaign — a movement committed to ending violence against women and girls. By speaking up, raising awareness and challenging harmful attitudes, we’re pledging to be part of the change.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and valued. Together, we’re using our voices for those who feel they can’t, and showing that solidarity truly does make a difference.
