We will be donating to St Helens Councils Gift Appeal again this year.
For the past 15 years, St Helens Borough Council has run a gift appeal for children aged from birth to 21 years (care leavers) at risk of waking up on Christmas Day without a present. During that time, tens of thousands of items have been donated, with last year's appeal alone resulting in more than £6,500 being raised as well as hundreds of gifts to be shared out between more than 850 children and young people.

Anyone who wishes to donate any gifts can drop them at any of our branches and we will pass them along.

ELSIE MARGARET MORRIS (Née TAYLOR)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Margaret Morris (Née Taylor) on 25th October 2025 at the age of 94. Elsie was our dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and auntie and she will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Passed peacefully away on 22nd October, 2025 aged 87 years at Abbeyrose Court Care Home. Beloved wife of Tom (deceased), loving mum to Paul and daughter-in-law June, devoted nan to George and Rachel. CHRISTINA PINNER
Suddenly, passed away at home on the 30th September 2025, aged 80 years. Loving and caring partner to David, sadly missed sister to Sheila and a dearly loved auntie & great - auntie. Left us peacefully, on October 13th, at Willowbrook Hospice. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her four children, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and by all the many friends she has made over her 95 years. Peacefully, passed away at home on 9th October 2025, aged 82. Loving and caring wife to Geoff, a much – loved and sadly missed mum to Darren, a special nan to Jordan and a kind, caring mother-in-law to Carol.

Peacefully, passed away on the 9th October 2025 at Warrington Hospital, aged 81. Beloved and caring wife to the late Allan, treasured mum to Lynda and Andrew, a special dotting grandma to James and Ryan and much-loved sister to Margaret.
