Heya everyone! It's been a while since I have posted, but here's the new hair colour! Please use this picture when showing young people what I look like!

I wanted to pop some things up which I am grateful for this week. I met some amazing young people who genuinely keep me on my toes, but also make me smile beyond belief, a young person singing "Sean the scouse" instead of Sean the sheep will live with me forever, a fellow OT brought me a coffee (thank you), a young person gave me a cool bendy dog which they made, I have laughed so very much all week and spent all week talking about Halloween and Christmas (my two favourite topics) and lastly I drove through the Peak district- which is a gorgeous drive - to see a lovely young man.

I work stupid hours (until midnight last night) but I have never been happier and it's all because of you! Thank you for sharing your lives with me and for allowing me to be part of them! For that - I am always grateful!

A massive thank you to Target Fitness, St Helens, for allowing me to use the gym space to complete an assessment today. I was unable to complete the assessment in their home as the young person doesn't like new people within their safe space, and in stepped Dan from Target Fitness!

One of the nicest people I have ever met and let me use the space for free as it was to support a young person with needs in our area.

Dan doesn't know about this post - but I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a kind and caring person who individualises training. I hope to work with him again soon!

A massive thank you to the team at Kanna for sending me some samples of their sensory clothing. This is a beautiful range which is soft, seamless and good quality. Great for people who have tactile hyper reactivity.

I will make sure that I have these samples with me when I am assessing and completing programmes. Please let me know if you want to have a look at them whilst I am with you.

Woke up to the best news today! A young person I have been supporting has now got a full time 1:1 and has a place at the school that she wanted! The parent who messaged said:

" You have changed my child's life . Keep up your amazing work , you will change so many families lives"

A massive congratulations to the young person and their family! Tribunals can be a hard, long and stressful process. I will do what I can to support you through this!

Varey Therapy is now offering the Bayley assessment! Very exciting!

This is used primarily to assess the motor (fine and gross), language (receptive and expressive), and cognitive development of infants and toddlers, ages 0-3!

Hair update! Especially for those that I am seeing next week before my holidays.

I love my job! I meet the best people and yesterday, I got to drive through a national park with sheep (who held me up as they wouldn't get out of the middle of the road but it was so worth it!) I never thought I would have to apologise for being late due to a sheep!

Amazing email recieved today from someone I have worked with recently.

I wish the young person luck with their new learning provision and journey. Its great to recieve such positive feedback and to know what an impact I am having!

Morning everyone!

Just to let you know I am on leave now until 31st July. I'm back in from 1st August.

As I am at a festival, I am not risking taking the laptop with me! I hope you understand!

As such, all messages and emails will be answered on 1st August.

As always, thank you for your understanding. I am trying to take leave prior to starting the business full time from the 8th September.
