This story is a few months old now, however this recent documentary on the day Glen Hoddle suffered a cardiac arrest, really emphasises the need for First Aid Training,

As a first aid business, we meet many people who know and understand the need for training but do not either fulfil the legal requirements or worry about the cost to their staff. At times, training can been seen as an unwanted expense.

With first aid training, it is about so much more than the legal need, but the moral need. What hits us about this video is the effect it had on the people around Glen, the people who could have been left behind. So we ask you to put yourself into the shoes of the bystander, do you want to be there and be so frightened that you do not know what to do, unable to move or assist in anyway?

Make the decision to become trained, NOT next Year, NOT next Month or next week. But today, book a course and save a life.

If you are dealing with a casualty. Check to see if they are wearing one of these ID tags. Just seen these for sale in a local pharmacy. These could save a life. Information is extremely important!

A fantastic step forward! London and now Glasgow. Public access defibrillators significantly reduce deaths when used quickly. Make sure that you have some basic training.. training speeds up its use and helps take away any fears you may have. ⛑👍

Cab drivers have been trained to use the life-saving devices which have been placed in 15 taxis in Glasgow.
