Over the years, visitors have reported:

Apparitions of soldiers, nurses and nuns.

A restless three-legged dog.

Strange sounds – footsteps, slamming doors, whistling and voices echoing through empty corridors.

An oppressive atmosphere in former morgue/cellar areas, and unexplained temperature drops.

Right guys Hall street businesses need your help and support better than ever. The regeneration works that’s being carried out are really affecting the whole of hall street.

There are buses that run to shaw street which is behind us and there is full pedestrian access. We have to try and survive until September 2026, which with all the rising costs and less footfall will be difficult to survive 12 months. We all feel like this is worse than Covid. There was support during Covid, but nothing available now.

Please shop local, please support your town and your local people.

We really can’t thank each and everyone of you who have supported us over the last 5 years.
We are hoping to be able to offer appointments 2 or 3 days a month at the shop.
The shop will still be there but will be run by Rachael and under a different name. We can highly recommend Rachael and we will make sure we share her details on here asap so you can get booked in with her.
So many people have walked through our door over the years and we’ve made so many friends.
