We have an amazing team of women at IFD College. From tutors and assessors, our administrator Sharon Welford who keeps everything running, IQA Jill Johnson, Vice Principal Nicola Jarmaine, Governors and Chair Gemma O’Driscoll.
Together with our students, women who spend every day supporting families in the worst of days, then studying in their evenings and weekends to ensure the highest standards; we celebrate you all today on International Women’s Day.

💐 Mother’s Day Service of Remembrance St Helens 💐

Mother’s Day can be especially difficult for those who are remembering someone they love.

St Helens Crematorium is holding a Service of Remembrance on Saturday 14 March 2026 at 1.00pm at St Helens Crematorium, Rainford Road, WA10 6DF. The service will be led by Father Paul Harris, and everyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be available afterwards.

No one should feel alone this Mother’s Day. 💗

Join us at GreenAcres Chiltern Park for Rosie’s Walk — a gentle sponsored dog walk held in loving memory of Rosie Greco, supporting The Kind Bay Initiative.

🕥 Arrival from 10.30am | Walk 11am–12noon

A relaxed one-hour stroll through the Park, followed by teas, coffees and cakes. Everyone is welcome, including dogs on leads.

5 more days to go until 19 players from the WSG Programme make the 3-hour journey East as we embark on our very first North East Tour.

We’re excited to experience the talent across the North East and provide our players with another fantastic opportunity to compete against Sunderland and Newcastle United across two competitive days.

The tour also gives us the chance to continue building strong relationships with key figures within the girls’ professional game, while showcasing the WSG Programme and our professional philosophy and standards.

It’s a busy Half Term schedule for WSG as we complete our 2-day tour, enjoy a well-earned rest on Wednesday, then return for the Elite Edge Coaching Tournament with our U12 and U13 squads on Thursday. We finish the week with our U11 Open Trial Matches on Friday, followed by our U14 Open Trial Training Session.
