🎄 Christmas Party Invite 🎄

Stocks Hall St Helens would like to invite our families and friends to our Christmas party on Tuesday 16th December, 1:30-4:30pm at Windleshaw Sports Club ❤️

Our ladies and gents are the stars of the party, so there will be no charge and families and friends can attend for £3 each - to which the proceeds will go towards our Residents Fund for more enriching activities and trips out ⭐️

Please see our WISH Activity Team for your tickets, we can’t wait to see you all there enjoying the festivities with your loved ones 🥰

⭐️ Employee of The Month ⭐️

We are so pleased to announce that our Employee of The Month for September is our WISH Activity Team Member, Lisa!

Presenting Lisa her award is our lovely resident, Ann. Lisa is so deserving of this award due to her consistent dedication to our residents and their well-being. The difference Lisa has made in the short 8 months she has been on the team has been amazing 🤩

Congratulations Lisa and thank you for all that you do ❤️

Great Start to November ✨❤️

We had a busy week last week, here at Stocks Hall St Helens. We started off the month with a spot of baking for All Souls Day by making All Souls biscuits - which turned out lovely (think a cross between a cake and a biscuit!) 🥰

Next up, we had a couple of trips on the calendar. We had a fun trip to Blackpool Illuminations and then finished off the week at The Trafford Center for some retail therapy 🛍️

What a wonderful start to the month ❤️

We are delighted to announce the date for our annual Christmas Fayre this year is Saturday 29th November 2-4pm 🎅

As always there will be plenty of stalls, refreshments and entertainment- fun for all the family and we can’t wait to see you all there! ❤️

We have had a wonderful October, from start to finish. it has been jam packed with activities, fun, laughter and trips out together.

Halloween Party! 🎃🥳👻

We had a spooktacular day celebrating Halloween with a fun filled party, dressing up, games and food 🥰

We played fun games like, wrap the staff as a mummy and what's in the box. Our ladies and gents also had a go at Pamela’s pumpkin work out to get out exercise in too. A mystery frog turned up… we wonder who it could be? 🐸

Then, in true St Helens style, we finished off with karaoke. What a frightfully fantastic day ❤️

Helping Hands Club 🙌🏮

Last week, we went on our weekly trip to John Smith’s Helping Hands group held at Ruskin Drive 🥰

WISH Activity Team Member Lisa said, “We all love joining in with this group and are always made to feel very welcome. David and Zac had a great time getting involved with everything and everyone!” ❤️✨

National Colour Day 🌈🎨🖌️

This afternoon was National Colour Day, so our ladies, gents and WISH Activity Team created rainbow themed pictures and hangings for our residents bedrooms. Sean had a good go at painting with WISH Activity Team member Lauren ❤️

A Fun Trip to Otterspool 🚌

On Thursday, our ladies and gents, David, Lee and Maureen, along with WISH Activity Team members Lisa and Lauren, and Minibus Driver Ste, had a lovely walk along the see front. We also did a bit of bird spitting and a winter pick nick. For lunch out we had a hearty tomato soup and sandwiches with a lovely warm cappuccino - what a lovely afternoon out together ❤️

Helping Hands with Pam and Lisa 🙌❤️

Yesterday, WISH Activity Team Member Lisa and Pam went to the weekly John Smith’s Helping Hands group. Lisa said, “We were treated to a lovely hot pot and materials to make a bespoke pen. Pam had a great time as did I.” 🥰

🥕🥦 National Vegetarian Week🫑🍅

This week is national vegetarian week! WISH Activity Team members Jackie and Lisa hosted a cooking session with our ladies and gents. Together they made vegetable bakes 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Everyone enjoyed the cooking and then eating what they had made… clean plates all round! ❤️

Although we are nine months into 2025, September always feels like a chance of new beginnings before we head into the final quarter of the year. This month has seen us change to more autumnal activities as the summer weather slowly leaves and cold but cosy evenings are ahead of us.
