The skilled team get to know your loved one's needs, interests and preferences so that they can shape all aspects of residents' care and experiences at the home. The emphasis at Oakfield Croft is on enabling residents to continue to enjoy a wonderful lifestyle. The home has its own cinema room, hair and beauty salon, plus an inviting café where residents and visitors will be free to help themselves to a freshly brewed coffee or tea, as well as a slice of homemade cake. Each bedroom is individually styled and furnished, with an en-suite wet room, and your loved one is welcome to personalise theirs.

🎄✨ Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day… WHAT. A. TRILOGY! ✨🎄

We’ve been absolutely rocking the festive season and the spirits have been sky-high! 🥳🎶

🎤 Christmas Eve kicked off in style with the fantastic Shaun Sloan serenading us and spreading Christmas cheer left, right and centre! And let’s not forget a very special performance of the 12 Days of Christmas, complete with some… shall we say… award-worthy choreography by none other than Amber & Beth 💃🕺 (Hollywood? West End??? Call us! 📞😂).

🎅 Christmas Day brought all the magic as Santa himself as sometime in the night he popped by with sacks full of presents for our amazing residents 🎁❤️ followed by a delicious festive meal shared with loved ones — full bellies, full hearts and maybe an extra roastie or two 🥔

😴 Boxing Day… well… let’s just say we all entered a festive food & fun induced coma 🦃🍰🥂 A day for snoozing, smiling and recovering from all that merry making!

What a joyful, lively and love-filled few days it’s been 💕 Thank you to everyone who helped make our Christmas so special — the memories will last far longer than the leftovers! 🎄✨

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from all of us at our care home! ✨🎄

As Christmas Day arrives, we want to send our warmest wishes to all of our wonderful residents, families, friends, and everyone who supports us throughout the year.

This season has been filled with laughter, kindness, festive fun and very special moments shared together – and we are so grateful to be part of such a caring, supportive community ❤️

May your Christmas be full of love, comfort, joy and a little sparkle, and may the New Year bring happiness, good health and many reasons to smile.

🎭 Oh yes we did! 🎭

We were treated to a famtastic (yes, that good!) Jack and the Beanstalk panto — starring just two actors, countless characters, and very big personalities 🌱😂

There was booing, cheering, laughing, and more audience participation than Jack had magic beans! Our residents absolutely loved every minute — proof that you don’t need a full cast to create full-on panto magic ✨

A huge thank you to our brilliant performers for bringing the laughs, the silliness, and the beanstalk-sized fun. Oh no they didn’t… oh YES THEY DID! 👏💚

✨🌈 Blackpool Illuminations & a Very Important Chippy Stop 🌈✨

We piled into the minibus and headed off to the Blackpool Illuminations — lights were sparkling, spirits were high and there was strong debate over which display was the best 😆

After all that excitement, we made the only sensible decision… a cheeky fish & chips 🐟🍟 Crispy batter, proper chips and a few “I definitely can’t finish this” comments (spoiler: they did).

Bright lights, big laughs and very full bellies — a cracking night out all round 💛

We had some hoof-tastic festive visitors to Oakfield Croft as the Simply Shetland Ponies trotted in to spread Christmas cheer! 🎅🐴🎄

The residents were absolutely beside themselves with joy meeting blonde mama Caramel and her darker, dashing partner in crime son William — both dressed to impress in their Christmas outfits ✨❤️ Who needs reindeer when you’ve got Shetlands?!

There were smiles, giggles, cuddles and plenty of “aww!” moments all round. These two certainly know how to "sleigh" the festive spirit and make our home feel extra merry and bright! 🎁❄️

Christmas cheer officially delivered… on four very fluffy legs 🐴🎄💫

We’ve been out spreading the Christmas cheer with a festive visit to Chestnut Drive in Sale to see the famous row of homes all beautifully decorated for Christmas 🎅🎄✨
The lights were twinkling, the spirits were high, and the smiles said it all!

A huge thank you to one of our lovely residents’ families for so kindly hosting us afterwards with delicious mince pies and warming mulled wine 🍷🥧 – the perfect way to end a magical evening.

Memories made, festive hearts full, and Christmas well and truly underway ❤️✨

❄️ We were treated to a truly magical afternoon as a beautiful violinist came to play festive Christmas tunes for our lovely residents ✨🎶

The music filled the home with warmth, nostalgia and Christmas cheer, bringing smiles all around ❤️

🚌✨ Museum Day Out! ✨🦖

We swapped our cosy armchairs for a little adventure — a trip to the Manchester Museum! 🎉 Our residents had an absolute blast exploring everything from ancient artefacts 🏺 to dazzling creatures of the natural world 🐍🦋.

There were big smiles, lots of “oohs” and “aahs,” and even a few new dinosaur experts among us by the end of the day 🦕😄. Nothing beats seeing our residents light up while discovering something new! 💛

A wonderful day filled with curiosity, laughter, and just a tiny bit of mischief 😉💫

🎄✨ Christmas Jumper Day Shenanigans! ✨🎄
Today our home was taken over by elves, sparkly jumpers and questionable levels of Christmas enthusiasm 😅🧝‍♀️🎅

From epic festive sweaters to full-on elf mode, we definitely "sleighed" it (see what we did there??) 🤣✨
Our residents loved it, our team laughed all day, and the Christmas tree witnessed far too much posing for photos 🎄📸

Oakfield Croft is a brand new care home that will open in Autumn 2019. Located on Washway Road, the home will be close to the heart of Sale and only a few minutes from junction 7 of the M60.

Our new Sale care home will provide completely personalised residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 60 people on a short-term (respite) and permanent basis. Our skilled team will get to know your loved one’s needs, interests and preferences so that we can shape all aspects of their care and experiences at the home to suit them.
