Here’s the secret about staying consistent with your health and fitness goals… 🙊

You get back on it at you earliest convenience.

For most people that’s today.

It could even be you next meal - have a balanced meal high in protein and fruit and veg.

It could be your next 20 min gap - go for a super quick walk on your lunch break or after you finish.

When you have an opportunity just do you next best thing.

It’s never been about 5-7 gym sessions a week - that’s impossible for most of us.

It’s simply about taking a single positive action today and accepting that as a win, and build on it later in the day or tomorrow.

It sounds boring as hell - but how’s it’s worked out for you the other way?! 🤔

Apex was born out of a huge desire to get away from the clique gym feel.��Gyms shouldn’t EVER feel intimidating.

You should never feel like you can’t ask a question.

You shouldn’t ever be expected to do this perfectly (secret: coaches are far from perfect)

And you certainly shouldn’t ever feel like you’re not part of the community.

The culture of the space you train dictates the results.

I genuinely believe we’ve created the most incredible space to change people’s lives - a place that understands how busy, stressed and overwhelmed people are and allow health and fitness to slot into a part of that with consideration.

If a gym’s sole purpose is to get you lying exhausted on the floor after after session, or making you unable to walk for days due to lack of consideration to your fitness level or injuries, they’re taking you for a ride.

It blows my mind that coaches or gym-owners elsewhere refuse to pay attention to the human aspect.

We’re proof group training can be done the right way 🖤

Massive shout out to these legends for tonight!

hosted a .dozen sim at the gym this evening and we all have it a blast.

Some teams. Some solos. Most of these legends it’s their first time ever trying anything like this ahead of the real thing in 3 weeks time in Macclesfield.

And I’m so proud of how everyone has progressed.

There’s people in this group who would NEVER have dreamed of doing this a year ago. Some were absolute beginners to exercise 12-18 months ago.

And that’s a testament to everyone’s progress and willingness to improve when the process is hard, and even tiring 😪

Not everyone has to have a goal like athis - but it IS awesome 💪🏻🔥

Can’t wait for three weeks to have a day of vibes with the gym.

Thanks for all your energy, my pride for this group and our gym is overwhelming 🖤❤️

Katie ABSOLUTELY smashed it! 🖤🙏🏻💪🏻

Katie joined Apex with her partner, Sean, around 18 months ago.

They’ve both been two of the most consistent members since they joined us and worked super hard to stick to their early morning sessions regardless of what’s going on.

I’ve personally seen Katie’s strength, fitness, motivation and work effort go from peak to peak, and couldn’t ask for a more hard working member!

Katie talks about how she just needed somewhere to help her be consistent and somewhere that felt more than just a gym! If that’s you - give it a watch for sure.

Awesome job - we’ll miss you, enjoy SA!!

Friday night and you’re already thinking the week was a write-off... 😩

Work ran late. Kids were feral. You were running on fumes by Wednesday and training just didn’t happen.

Now you’re sat there planning some big “fresh start Monday” reset.

Here’s where balance comes into play… 🙏🏻

Spoke to a member tonight in the session who was feeling guilty about how much they ate this week.

That they were enjoying being back but trying desperately to ‘burn it off’.

I get that.

But there comes a point you might need to question if you see exercise as punishment for what you ate - there’s only so far that gets you.

If you’re addressing health and fitness the right way - an Easter egg isn’t going to be the downfall of your year.

When you’re consistent with exercise, consistent with healthy lifestyle habits, you don’t need to worry about the occasional ‘slip ups’.

Because you’re consistently more better than when you’re not.

And when you get there - you win.

You realise a night out doesn’t derail progress.

That a treat a few times a week can be managed around the majority of your diet being healthy.

You got this - if you tend to punish yourself because of your ‘downfalls’, maybe that’s been the thing holding you back…

NOBODY started their health journey looking as slick or as cool as these legends! 🖤🔥

Most people are nervous... some sit in the car outside hesitating to even walk in.

But once you’re in, the energy always carries you, and your mood is better.

Finding a space that actually supports where you’re at in life, your fitness level AND considers what you can or can’t do, makes all the difference.

Knowing what YOU need from training for your goals - not what some fitness influencer tells you need or a coach who just wants to make you exhausted.

We’re not bodybuilders or professional athletes here… and that’s exactly why it works so well for those we help.�
We’ll absolutely push you to what you’re capable of. But you know you’re gonna always feel so much better after 😏 🙌

Half term week and the routine’s out the window... 😩

You don’t need a perfect week, just don’t quit when things get difficult please 🙏🏻

Most people expect to hit their usual routine this week... and the minute they can’t, it feels like failure. So they sack the whole thing off.

One session. One decent meal. That’s FINE - that’s you building the muscle that doesn’t quit when life gets busy.

Half term will be over before you know it. Make sure you’re still in the game when it does 💪

BUT….

If you can stack these habits for the next 6 weeks you’ll be amazed at the difference.

It really is that simple. Not easy, mind you. But simple.

And if that makes you think it won’t work, that’s what needs to change 🤔

In the gym, you get things wrong all the time.

A little off that day. Maybe weaker. Doesn’t quite go how you wanted…

No one makes a big deal of it because it’s expected!
�You just come back and go again.

Just keep doing the same when things aren’t perfect OUTSIDE the gym.
�Keep going. Do your best 🖤
