BOWEL CANCER SCREENING
Is offered to everyone aged 50 to 74 every two years via a home kit to check for signs of cancer.

BREAST CANCER SCREENING
Women aged 50 to their 71st birthday are invited for a mammogram every three years.

CERVICAL SCREENING
Aged between 25 to 64 are invited for a routine smear test to check for HPV, typically every 5 years.

PROSTATE CANCER
There is no national, automatic screening programme in the UK. Men over 50+ with concerns can request a PSA blood test from their GP.

💙 January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Cervical screening saves lives. It can detect high-risk HPV and prevent cervical cancer before it develops.

If you’ve been invited for screening and haven’t booked yet, now is the time ✔️
If you notice symptoms like unusual bleeding, pain during s*x, or unusual discharge, contact your GP – don’t wait for your screening appointment.
