From tomorrow until the end of the month (Sunday 30th November). If you have a TfGM-issued older person’s or disabled person’s concessionary travel pass, you can travel for free at any time on all Bee Network buses - including those operating beyond the Greater Manchester boundary.
This is a temporary change to the usual travel rules and has been put in place after the successful trial in the summer.
Older person’s pass holders normally travel free after 9:30am and before midnight on weekdays, and all day on weekends and public holidays. During November, you can travel for free before 9:30am and after midnight on weekdays.
Disabled person’s pass holders usually pay £1 before 9:30am and after midnight on weekdays. During November, this fare is waived, so you can travel for free at any time.
Please note:
This trial applies only to passes issued by Transport for Greater Manchester under the England National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS).
Passes issued by other authorities are not eligible for the trial in Greater Manchester.
The trial ends on 30 November, from 1 December the usual travel rules apply.
The trial is on buses only, not on trams or trains.
