Good News Alert!
Back in September, members of Eccles and Irlam Primary Care Network held a Charity Ball at the Lowry Theatre in Salford to rise money for the Mustard Tree, an Eccles-based charity that combats poverty and prevents homelessness.
The event was attended by staff from across the network which consists of seven practices: St Andrews Medical Practice, Monton Medical Centre, Springfield Medical Centre, Salford Primary Care Together, Chapel Group Medical Centre, Irlam Clinic and Mosslands Medical Practice.
They raised an incredible £1637 for the mustard tree and the network will continue to work closely with the charity, encouraging donations to their food club which supports local residents who are struggling with the cost of living. Photo shows Dr Tom Tasker - PCN Clinical Director, Georgina McNulty - PCN Managing Director and Candice Saunders - Executive Assistant presenting the money raised to the Mustard Tree.
Great work team!

This week we'll be celebrating all things primary care! We'll be highlighting the achievements of our Greater Manchester primary care colleagues and showcasing some of the things they do to go that extra mile for patients.
Primary care is the heart of our communities — from GPs and pharmacists to dentists and opticians. They’re not just there when we’re unwell, but play a vital role in prevention, early diagnosis, and lifelong wellbeing.
Follow the link in the comments to find out how primary care has evolved and to read about some of the incredible achievements of our Greater Manchester colleagues since the launch of the NHS Greater Manchester Primary Care Blueprint.
